St. Patrick's Weekend
Ice Paddy ?!?

Oh, no! Ireland and much of the British Isles will be situated right between very cool air in the North and significantly milder air in the Southwest. Nothing unusual during this time of the year. Unfortunately such a "rendezvous" between two air masses usually results in wind and rain. Vivid to strong winds are to be expected for the entire Ireland, mainly coming fom easterly to northeasterly directions. While Northern Ireland is likely to get a cold and sleety blustery shower here and there, southern Ireland will be very wet, milder and rainy throughout the holiday weekend, while St. Patrick's Day itself (Saturday) will be the driest day of the weekend. The St. Patrick's Parade in New York will be somewhat better off with various clouds and an odd shower, but frequent sunny spells. Although 5-day forecasts are still likely to change a little, this time the models seem to be rather reliable. Stay tuned.
