All systems are green. Yes, it is pretty sure now - it will be another green Christmas for most of the UK, including the Highlands. As a matter of fact, the chances for a white one were quite high a couple of days ago, but now they virtually "dropped" down to zero. Good news if you have to drive to your loved ones for Christmas, as the roads will stay clear -- even on higher grounds. Bad news if you were hoping for a "post-card" landscape on Christmas Day.

However, there is still a tiny chance left for at least some snowy rain or sleet on December, 24. Not exactly what we were hoping for.
