Paris - Heavy fog late forced the cancellation Thursday of dozens of flights in and out of Paris's Charles de Gaulle airport and caused delays of up to one hour for virtually all other take-offs and landings, airport officials said.

Visibility improved during Friday morning and conditions are said to be back to normal by noon. Flights to and from Paris' second airport, Orly, were not affected.
