A Brief Sting in the Tale

A brief early warning seems in order for some wintry weather about to affect parts of the UK during the early part of the coming week. Heh, it must be important to interrupt my Saturday afternoon :) !

What is happening is that as low pressure tracks through the country on Monday and into Tuesday winds will be briefly turning to the north or northwest. As this happens low pressure may well push showers onto eastern coasts of England and Scotland, turning to snow as cold air arrives.

It could bring a more prolonged period of snow to the North York Moors and perhaps East Anglia for a brief time.

All parts of England are likely to have a cold day on Wednesday.

Whatever the weather, keep the sun shining!
