Mixed with some cool spells

Our forecast pattern continues to be rather variable, and the confidence in this forecast is best taken as only moderate to low.

The early part of June may begin rather mixed, although quite son in the period there are indications that anticyclonic influences will begin to dominate.

By the middle of the second week these influences should begin to decline with low pressure taking control of the pattern. The middle of June is expected to become rather cool and unsettled, although the south of the British Isles may be better with high pressure to the south.

By the end of the month we may see some return to higher pressure conditions which would mean drier weather and more sunshine. The high tending to be west of the country with spells of fine weather, rather than any prolonged summery spell.
