Rain or showers, mild overall
The area of low pressure that is over northern England this morning is going to be bringing unsettled conditions through the next few days.
Some places may see some heavy rain, although these places are likely to be quite localised. However, late on Wednesday and into Thursday there is a hint of more persistent and heavier rain crossing parts of Ireland, southwest Wales and southwest England, perhaps bringing a risk of some flooding and strong winds here. It should be stressed though that confidence in this is only moderate at the moment.
Generally temperatures are going to be staying quite mild. However, there is a hint that as the low rpessure passes over the southwest on Wednesday and Thursday we may find a much colder day in east or northeast winds for Thursday.
Whatever the weather, keep the sun shining!
