Bonfire Dampner

It looks set to be a bit of a damp one tonight for many over southern and eastern parts of England.

Heavy periods of rain will be passing eastwards, mainly affecting the Midlands, northern England and southwest England through this afternoon.

By this evening the rain will be through much of northeast England, East Anglia, the eastern midlands as well as southern England. At the same time more rain will be passing through Ireland.
