Rain stays to the south
I’m a happy bunny this morning! It looks as if my predictions through this week that rain would stay further south than models predicted appear to be coming true, and for a weatherman, that is good news.
Not so god if you are planning to be on the southern coasts of Ireland, England and Wales on Saturday, because it’s here where there will be damp conditions with rain and drizzle throughout the weekend.
Most of the rain is only going to be light, although the far south of Devon and Cornwall may see 5mm of rain during the course of tonight and Saturday morning. By Sunday afternoon the rain and drizzle should fade.
For the rest of the country it will be a windy day on Saturday with good spells of sunshine. The best of the sunshine over northwest England, parts of west wales and Scotland.
For Sunday Scotland looks cloudier with some drizzle, with sunshine and dry conditions over most of central and northern England, as well as west Wales and central Ireland.
Whatever the weather keep the sun shining!
Simon
