Weather window for Shuttle launch

As the Space Shuttle Discovery awaits it's launch, staff at NASA must be breathing a sigh of relief as the weather looks set to stay on-board.

The shuttle is ready to launch during it's window between 2045 and 2051 BST today.

The latest forecast suggests a partly cloudy sky, with a small risk of thunderstorms.

Topical Storm Emily should stay away for long enough to get the Shuttle into space.
