Chillier Weather Continues
Now that the door has been opened to northerly Arctic winds, the UK looks set to be in for a chilly few days. The strongest of the winds are likely over northern and eastern Scotland, together with east parts of England. These winds may bring some showers, a few of them wintry to northern and eastern parts of the country.
Further west high pressure is going to be building in, and this will be responsible for dry conditions with sunny spells. Temperatures will be falling sharply as well with a widespread frost on Thursday morning. There may be some mist and fog patches in places too.
The high seems likely to last through the course of Thursday and Friday, and again frost is probable through the morning and overnight.
Whatever the weather, keep the sun shining!
