Becoming more unsettled for all

Changes are taking place in the weather over the next few days, so make the most of todays sunshine (if you have any of course).

A weak ridge of high pressure is going to be holding on to the southeastern corner of the country through Wednesday, bringing more sunshine through the Midlands and eastern parts of England. However, western areas will already be seeing the change with rain and stronger winds moving in.

By Thursday low pressure will have taken control, but overall it shouldn’t be too bad a day, especially away from western coasts. Some good spells of sunshine inland and feeling warm here too, although watch out for showers on western coasts.

More rain sweeps eastwards overnight into Friday when low pressure will be centred west of Scotland, and indications are that this may be the story for the week. Low pressure in control and a mix of sunshine and showers. Most of the showers to the west and north.

I’ll have more on the weekend forecast for you tomorrow.

Whatever the weather keep the sun shining!
