Brrr, that was a cold night!

I know, we are in the third week of November, so it should be getting cold. That doesn't stop it being a shock to the system when the frost arrives with a vengeance though!

A run down of the observed minimum temperatures for last night sees Benson (Oxfordshire) topping (or should that be bottom) of the list with a freezing -6C. Eskdalemuir, Carlisle, Pershore and Shawbury all recorded -5C. A frost was widespread over the country, only the coastal fringes escaping.
