Snow showers are affecting much of eastern England this morning, generally reaching as far south as the London area. Weatheronline is excellent to find out where it is snowing now, just see here

Accumulations at the moment are small, although with the showers expected to persist through the day, there could be as much as an inch over parts of East Anglia by this evening.

The strong northerly wind will make it feel bitterly cold in eastern areas as well with temperatures struggling to around 2C by this afternoon.

If you are planning to travel within eastern England today, do take care and prepare for hazardous conditions.
