Trent Bridge showers, heavy at times...

As the fourth test gets underway at Trent Bridge showers are already forming this morning to the west.

There may be clear blue skies this morning, but the showers will be bubbling up.

The highest risk of the showers today is probably between about 12pm and 5pm and some of these could be in the downpour category. Hail and thunder are possible.

Looking ahead Friday morning should be fair although increasingly cloud and there is a chance of a few spots of drizzle in the afternoon, although I wouldn't expect these to interrupt play.

Saturday is probably dry with some bright spells although plenty of cloud, whilst the dry conditions persist on Sunday, although a risk of some showery rain on Monday.

Whatever the weather, keep the sun shining.
