Mixed for all, cool at times
After Fridays heavy snowfalls in many parts of the UK and Ireland, slightly milder conditions are bringing a thaw of lying snow.
The question now being asked is will the snow return? Well, no doubt it will at some point this winter, but for the time being, apart from snow on high ground, we should not see a return of the very wintry conditions of Friday.
However, it is going to be a mixed week ahead. There will be times when the north wind returns and so it will be chilly. Eventually low pressure will edge in from the north west bringing a longer period of rain.
I have to stress though that my confidence in the forecast is low at the moment, I hope to bring you more up-to-date news tomorrow.
Whatever the weather, keep the sun shining!
Simon
