Very warm for some this weekend
As the Bank Holiday weekend approaches, you might be forgiven for thinking that the weather is bound to be bad! Well, depending where you are in the country, you could be right.
However, for some of us, it does look set to become very warm.
Things start heating up on Friday, as a mild southwest wind covers the country. Temperatures will be rising to 17 to 19C through England and Wales, although Scotland will be cooler with showers here.
Saturday sees the air continuing to warm up. Things will be complicated though by a front travelling northwards bringing lots of cloud and drizzle to western coasts areas, and much of inland England, Wales, Ireland and southern Scotland in the morning with drizzle. During the day cloud will be breaking away from western coasts with sunny spells coming through. These will be lifting temperatures quickly, with highs at 20 to 22C through central and southeastern England.
On Sunday there is a chance of a breakdown of the warm weather, but not before temperatures rise to a possible 23C over southeast England.
Whatever the weather keep the sun shining!
