Heavy Snow Showers in East

The promised post-Christmas cold snap has arrived. A sharp frost over all parts last night has been followed by heavy snow showers for eastern counties of England.

Here at the Weatheronline Weather centre we are monitoring the progress of the showers, with some causing near blizzard like conditions for East Anglia, Kent and the Home Counties.

The showers are set to continue through the rest of today and again some may be heavy. They will tend to fade back to the coasts tonight, although all places having a sharp frost.

You can check out the latest snow situation by calling our forecasters on the number above.

Brrrrr. Whatever the weather, keep the sun shining!
