Temperatures fall, but the weather stays fair

After the extreme temperatures of Friday (32C in central London), fresher weather has moved through the country during the night. It was hot everywhere on Friday though, with just 11C in parts of Scotland.

For Saturday conditions look likely to become brighter during the day. Most of England and Wales should be dry with sunny spells, although a few showers could affect the west.

Low prssure over Scotland is bringing stronger winds here, so get set for a windy day in the north, with frequent showers or rain.

On Sunday most areas are going to be dry and fresh. Plenty of sunshine over England and Wales, although Kent may just get caught by thundery rain for a time in the afternoon. Showers and coud also moving across Ireland later. Scotland will have showers in the west, although rain to the north.

For Holiday Monday we're thinking of more unsettled weather in the north and east in showers. Brighter later in the west and south, but feeling cooler everywhere.

Whatever the weather, keep the sun shining.
