November wind and rain
As we leave a mild October behind, the weather looks set to become far more windier into the new month of November.
With the jet stream buckling overhead the British Isles, Atlantic low pressure areas will be sweeping eastwards. These will be bringing periods of rain, heavy at times, together with winds to gale force.
Rainfall amounts during the next week may be close to 25mm in places, and this could cause some localised flooding through western parts of Scotland and Ireland.
On the positive side, it is not going to be cold.
Whatever the weather, keep the sun shining!
