Forecast valid for Sunday 16/06/02 to Saturday 22/06/02 TOI Wednesday 12/06/02 2000 BST. Based on MRF, ECMWF, UKMO, and ENS labelled model.
High confidence at 80% for a continuation of the changeable and rather cool weather. Most dry weather in the south and east. Very little chance of dry weather lasting longer than 36 hours anywhere but most likely if at all in the southeast.
Low pressure to the NW of the British Isles will maintain a west to southwest flow with frontal systems alternating with short-lived ridges of high pressure. This means spells of rain and showers in all areas heaviest in the northwest where gales are possible. The southeast will be brighter and warmer at times but all areas will continue rather cool generally. Daily detail impossible to predict at this stage.
