Monday and Tuesday will start with some light night-time frost (harder towards north) and patchy fog throughout the British Isles. Otherwise mostly dry and bright with temperatures slightly below normal. Later on Tuesday, clouds thickening from the west with milder air and rain to push in from the west. Turning changeable and windy.

Wednesday and Thursday will be dominated by mild, windy, unsettled and changeable conditions again. Low pressure areas seem to dig in and thus confidence is rather good (60 to 70 %) that the wet weather will stay with us for the rest of the week.
