Weekly Outlook : 21/03/03-27/03/03
Sunny & Warm. Unsettled Next Week

Friday 21/03/03 to Sunday 23/03/03
The weather continuing bright and settled, under the influence of high pressure. Low cloud, mist and fog will be a problem in central and eastern parts, although most of this will burn off by afternoon. Parts of north-west Scotland and Northern Ireland will see a lot of cloud, with spots of rain at times right through the weekend. Elsewhere, fine and sunny, and with winds swinging around to the south it will become warmer, with highs possibly of 18°C in central parts by Sunday.

Monday 24/03/03 to Tuesday 25/03/03
Southerly winds will maintain warm, sunny conditions across many parts and cloud in the north-west should move away. During Monday afternoon, scattered showers may break out across south-western parts, possibly on the sharp side. Elsewhere, after morning mist has cleared it will be another fine day. It will stay largely dry on Tuesday, with long spells of warm sunshine. There is the likelihood of rather more cloud across southern parts, and the odd heavy shower cannot be ruled out at this time.

Wednesday 26/03/03 to Thursday 27/03/03
Fine and sunny for many northern and eastern parts, and staying pleasantly warm. There is the increasing risk of showers breaking out across southern and western parts, some possibly heavy. Winds will freshen out to the west, and by Thursday conditions will become more unsettled with cooler, cloudier weather spreading in off the Atlantic. Rain will follow by the end of the day, while the majority of mainland UK stays dry and bright.
