Tuesday 25/11/03 to Wednesday 26/11/03
Southern and eastern parts of England will have a cloudy day with outbreaks of rain, mostly light and patchy. It will be rather cloudy just about everywhere, although much of Wales, central and northern England will be mostly dry during daylight hours. Scotland will however have sunny spells, but with a number of sharp showers and strong winds in return. Ireland will bear the brunt of the most unsettled weather, with outbreaks of heavy rain setting in by evening. Chilly everywhere, especially in the north. Rain will affect all parts overnight, heavy in places, but becoming confined to eastern England by dawn. Much of central and eastern England will have a mostly dry day on Wednesday, once early cloud clears, with sunny spells. Western England, Wales and much of Ireland will have sunny spells but with frequent, heavy showers. Scotland will have a longer spell of heavy rain during the afternoon. Windy everywhere, and feeling chilly.

Thursday 27/11/03 to Friday 28/11/03
Much of England and Wales will have another bright day on Thursday with plenty of sunny spells, bar a scattering of showers around western hills and coasts. The bulk of the showers will be across western parts of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland, where some will be heavy with hail and thunder. It will feel particularly chilly out and about with fresh north-westerly winds. Overnight, showers will most die away, but only as thicker cloud and outbreaks of rain spreads in from the west. On Friday morning, much of Ireland, Wales and south-west England will be wet with heavy rain at times. This will sweep eastwards across remaining parts of England in the afternoon, with fresh to strong westerly winds. Northern Ireland and Scotland will have some brighter spells at times, but also some heavy showers, wintry over the highest ground. Remaining cold everywhere.

The weekend will, unfortunately remain very unsettled with further rain for all parts. On Saturday, bands of heavy rain will spread across much of England and Wales, reaching Northern Ireland and southern Scotland by evening. This rain will linger across northern parts on Sunday, before returning southwards during the afternoon with wintry conditions over the mountains of southern Scotland and northern England. On Monday, colder north-westerly winds will bring a rash of heavy showers to north-western parts, wintry at times. Southern parts will stay rather overcast with further bursts of rain, some heavy.
