While Christmas Eve, Christmas day and Boxing Day are likely to see showers and bright intervals with rather mild temperatures, showers over the Scottish Higlands might turn out wintry above 300m asl (1000ft).
So Christmas 2002 looks like an unsettled one at the moment. However, stay tuned. From today on the white Christmas countdown will be published daily.
