Saturday 5th October 2024 Cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain to start and then through the morning for N.Ireland, western and norther Scotland windy with a fresh SW wind 13C through the afternoon. Cloudy for eastern Scotland though remaining generally dry with sunshine 13 to 15C for Tayside and Fife. England and Wales, dry with sunshine and variable cloud especially into the afternoon, cool start 6C at first, 12C mid-morning to 15C during the afternoon, though 15 to 17C Gwynedd to Lancashire through Cheshire to Shropshire, east Yorkshire and Lincolnshire through midlands to Suffolk and Kent. Cooler with fresh SE wind and windchill southern coast of Wales, Devon and Cornwall and Channel. Generally dry through evening for most save scattered showers northern Scotland, becoming windy and cloudy for all overnight with outbreaks of rain.
